Codes for new DHgate customers

Codes for every shopper

Each code has its own Get Coupon button on this page. New-user codes are only for a first order with a new DHgate account.

How to use a DHgate coupon code

1. Click Get Coupon on the code that fits your order. The code is copied and DHgate opens in a new tab through our partner link.
2. Sign in or create your DHgate account. New-user codes are for a first order with a new account.
3. Add items to your cart until the total is above the code's minimum.
4. At checkout, paste the code in the coupon field and apply it.
5. Check that the total has dropped before you pay. If the code is refused, check the minimum, the date and, for new-user codes, whether your account has ordered before.

Which DHgate code saves you the most?

• Use the highest code your cart reaches. A $95 cart qualifies for $8 off (orders over $80) but not for $10 off, which needs more than $100. Adding $6 of items moves you up to the $10 code.
• Two medium orders can beat one big one. One $400 order gets $25 off, while two orders of just over $200 each get $20 + $20 off, as long as the extra shipping does not eat the difference.
• New customers start low. The $3 and $4 new-user codes work on carts over $5 and $10, which makes a small first test order cheap. For a bigger first order, $10 off $85 beats the everyday $8 off $80.
• Count shipping in. Each seller sets its own shipping cost, and items from different sellers ship separately. Compare the final total, not only the item prices.

What is DHgate?

DHgate (DHgate.com) is a cross-border online marketplace founded in Beijing in 2004. It does not sell its own stock: independent sellers, mostly based in China, list their products and ship them to buyers around the world, either as single items or in bulk for resellers. DHgate says it hosts more than 30 million products.

The main categories are phones and accessories, electronics and computers, clothing, shoes and bags, jewellery and watches, home and garden, lighting, sports and outdoors, health and beauty, toys, baby and kids, hair products, wedding and party wear, and car and motorcycle parts. The site also has Flash Deals, a 5-Star Stores section and a bulk buying area.

How buying on DHgate works

DHgate describes its purchase flow in five steps:

1. Find an item, message the seller if you have questions and add it to your cart.
2. Pay. DHgate holds the payment until you allow it to be released to the seller.
3. The seller ships the parcel and you receive tracking information.
4. You check the quality and quantity of what arrived.
5. You confirm the order and leave feedback; only then is the seller paid.

This is why you should never confirm an order before it has arrived and been checked.

DHgate shipping and returns

Because DHgate is a marketplace, every seller sets its own shipping methods, costs and delivery estimates, shown on the item page before you buy. Most sellers ship from China, so delivery is usually slower than from a local shop, and parcels from different sellers arrive separately.

If something goes wrong, DHgate's help centre lists cancellation, disputes, mediation and returns and refunds. Message the seller first and open a dispute in My Orders if the item is missing, wrong or damaged. If you cannot agree with the seller, you can escalate the case to DHgate mediation. Return terms differ per seller, so read them on the item page, and keep photos of the parcel and the item.

Is DHgate legit? Our verdict

Yes, DHgate is a real marketplace that has been running since 2004, and its app scores 4.6 out of 5 from about 626,000 ratings on the Apple App Store. The website's reviews tell a different story: on Trustpilot DHgate scores 1.7 out of 5 from 34,514 reviews, with about half five-star and about a third one-star reviews. The complaints are mostly about wrong sizes or poor quality, refunds and rejected disputes, and parcels that never arrived.

The difference comes from the sellers: on a marketplace this size, quality varies from shop to shop. Our advice: buy from sellers with a high rating and many reviews, read the product reviews and photos, check the seller's shipping and return terms, and keep evidence until you confirm the order.

Pros

• Official DHgate coupon codes for every order size, plus first-order codes
• Very low prices and a huge range, including bulk buying
• DHgate holds your payment until you confirm the order
• Dispute and mediation process if a seller does not deliver

Cons

• Quality and service depend on the individual seller
• Low Trustpilot score with complaints about refunds and missing parcels
• Longer delivery times, often from China, and separate parcels per seller

How we verify DHgate codes

We take DHgate's coupon codes from its own partner programme and check every month which codes are current, with their minimum order and end date. Codes on this page were checked on 9 October 2026. When the month ends we remove the expired codes and add the new ones as soon as DHgate publishes them. The total at checkout always counts.
