Bikes and scooters ship from ENGWE's EU warehouses in France and Poland and reach German addresses in 7 to 10 business days by DPD at no charge; remote areas and islands are not served. Processing takes 1 to 2 business days and the tracking number is emailed on dispatch; ENGWE suggests waiting two days before checking it on 17track. Some accessories ship separately and take longer. Once a parcel has shipped it cannot be stopped or redirected without paying the return shipping and a restocking fee, so check the address before you confirm.

Returns and cancellations: read this before you order

You have 30 days from delivery to ask for a return, and you must email service.de@engwe.com first; parcels sent without approval are refused. A change-of-mind return is only accepted if the bike is unused with under 10 km on the display, complete in its original box with charger, keys and hardware, and you have the proof of purchase. In that case ENGWE deducts a shipping and handling fee of €200 per e-bike and €100 per battery (unused batteries only), and the bike goes back to the warehouse in Stryków, Poland. Sale accessories, custom orders and free gifts are not returnable. Cancelling before dispatch is free, and orders leave on the third business day, so the window is short. If the bike arrives faulty, damaged or wrong, ENGWE sends a return label and replaces it or refunds you in full. Refunds are processed within 3 business days of inspection and take 3 to 10 business days to reach your account. Note that these are ENGWE's terms; your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under German law applies alongside them.

Warranty terms

12 months on the frame, fork, handlebar, folding tubes and seat post; 12 months on the motor, battery (replaced below 60% capacity), controller, charger, display, cables, brake levers and sensors; 6 months on lights, kickstand, fenders, racks, pedals, cranks, chain, derailleur, hubs and shock; 3 months on saddle, plastics, brake rotors, pads and cables; 1 month on tyres. Water damage, crashes, modifications and repairs at unapproved workshops are excluded, and accessories bought separately are only covered if dead on arrival. Claims go to service.de@engwe.com with your order number and a photo or short video. The L20 3.0 Pro and EP-2 3.0 Boost currently ship with a free second year; other bikes can add a 12-month extended warranty covering motor, battery, controller, display, wiring, charger, frame, fork and brakes, and it has to be in the same order as the bike. ENGWE publishes a map of partner repair workshops in Germany, but ask for its approval before taking the bike there, and note that those shops are not return addresses.
