Applying the code, step by step

Stock orders are packed within 1 to 2 business days and then take 7 to 10 business days to arrive, so plan on two weeks from order to first ride. A tracking number shows up on 17track.net a couple of days after you order. Islands and remote regions are excluded, and the site will tell you at checkout if your address is one of them. Bikes arrive in a large box roughly 90% assembled; fitting the front wheel, pedals and handlebar takes half an hour with the included tools.
Returns and cancellations
You get 30 days from delivery. To qualify, the bike must be unused with fewer than 10 km on the display, complete with charger, keys and paperwork, and back in its original packaging. Write to service@engwe-bikes.com first; they send a prepaid label and you must not ship anything on your own. For a change-of-mind return ENGWE keeps €200 per e-bike (€100 per battery) from the refund to cover freight. If the bike arrived faulty or damaged, the return is free and you choose an exchange or a full refund. Cancelling an order before it ships costs 5% of the total; after it ships, the same €200. Once the warehouse has the bike it takes up to five business days to check it, and the refund is issued within one or two days after that. Sale accessories such as fenders, bags and locks are final sale.
Warranty terms
Standard cover is 12 months on frame, fork, motor, battery, controller, charger, display and wiring, 6 months on the kickstand, fenders, chain and derailleur, and 1 to 3 months on tyres, saddle, brake pads and plastic parts. The battery is covered if capacity falls below 60% within the year. ENGWE ships replacement parts free; you or a local shop fit them. The EP-2 3.0 Boost is the exception with 24 months on frame, motor, battery and electronics, the battery limited to 10,000 km. An extra year of cover is sold only together with a bike, and at the time of writing it was marked down to €39 from €109.90, which is worth adding on any bike over €1,000. Crash damage, water ingress, DIY repairs and modified bikes are excluded, as are bikes bought second-hand.
