What is wrong with hu.engwe.com right now

Quick answer: our link opens hu.engwe.com with the code MUHAMMADHANZALA already applied, and the checkout shows 10% off any e-bike, scooter or accessory. But stop before you pay. In September 2026 the Hungarian store shows every price in Philippine pesos (₱), not forints: the N1 Air is listed at 659 600 ₱ and the checkout total reads "PHP 593 640 ₱". Those numbers were meant as forints, and a card would be charged in pesos, about six times more. Until ENGWE fixes the setting, order the same bike from the euro store engwe-bikes-eu.com, which ships to Hungary and accepts the same code.

We opened the store through our partner link on 14 September 2026, put an N1 Air in the cart and went to the checkout. This is what we saw.

The policy pages all quote forints, the site is in Hungarian and the checkout defaults to Hungary, so the store was set up for HUF and someone picked the wrong currency code in Shopify. Nobody will knowingly pay 593 640 pesos, roughly 3.6 million forints, for a 1,300 euro bike, but a buyer who does not look at the currency symbol could. We have written to ENGWE about it and will update this page when the store charges forints.

ENGWE's euro store, engwe-bikes-eu.com, ships to Hungary by DPD in 7 to 10 business days, free, and it carries the current 3.0 line-up at sale prices that the Hungarian store does not have: the E26 3.0 Pro at €1,899, the P275 SE at €999, the N1 Pro at €1,599 on 14 September 2026. What hu.engwe.com sells

The catalogue is ENGWE's 2024 range, without the sale prices of the euro store and with about half the models out of stock on 14 September 2026. Prices below are the numbers the store shows, read as forints.

Even read as forints, several prices are above the euro store: the N1 Air at 659 600 Ft is about €1,660 against €1,299 in euros, and the N1 Pro at 879 600 Ft is about €2,210 against €1,599. That is one more reason to buy from the euro store for now. The EP-2 Boost at 71 199 is clearly a data error, not a bargain; expect it to be corrected before any order ships.

How the code works

1. Click Get Coupon on any offer above. The code is copied and a second later hu.engwe.com opens through our partner link. The link stores the code in the shop, so you do not need to type it.
2. Add a bike or scooter to the cart. The cart total is already 10% lower.
3. Open the checkout. The order summary shows a tag "MUHAMMADHANZALA" under the product and the line "Discount code MUHAMMADHANZALA" with the amount taken off. If the tag is missing, paste the code into the Discount code box and press Apply.
4. Look at the currency next to the total. Pay only when it reads Ft or EUR. If it reads ₱ or PHP, close the tab and use the euro store.

The pop-up on the home page is a newsletter form promising 2% on a future order; it does not give a code and does not affect ours. Payment options at the checkout are card, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Delivery to Hungary: 7 to 10 business days, free by DPD

E-bikes and scooters ship from ENGWE's EU warehouses in France and Poland. Hungary is in the "other EU countries" group, so count 7 to 10 business days by DPD at no charge; FedEx express is offered for 20 620 Ft. Processing starts within 2 business days of the confirmation email and the parcel leaves on the third; the tracking number is emailed on dispatch. Accessories ordered alone take 7 to 10 business days from the EU or 7 to 15 from China. Once a parcel has shipped it cannot be redirected without cost, and a parcel that sits uncollected at a pick-up point for 10 days is returned to ENGWE, after which you pay to have it sent again.

Returns and cancellations

You have 30 days from delivery to ask for a return, and you must email service.hu@engwe.com first; unannounced parcels are refused. A change-of-mind return is only accepted if the bike is unused with under 10 km on the display, clean and complete in its original box, and ENGWE deducts 81 040 Ft per bike for restocking and shipping. Cancelling before dispatch costs 5% of the order; cancelling after dispatch or refusing the parcel costs 81 040 Ft. Faulty products are exchanged or refunded free within 30 days, though the policy keeps a 40 520 Ft shipping charge; after 30 days a fault is handled as a warranty repair, and ENGWE may ask you to have it fixed at a local workshop and reimburse the cost. Returns go to the warehouse in Wrocław, Poland. Refunds are processed within 3 business days of inspection and take 3 to 10 business days to reach your account.

Warranty

12 months on the frame, fork, handlebar, folding tubes and seat post; 12 months on the motor, battery (replaced below 60% capacity), controller, charger, display, cables, brake levers and sensors; 6 months on lights, kickstand, fenders, racks, pedals, cranks, chain, derailleur, hubs and shock; 3 months on saddle, plastics, brake rotors, pads and cables; 1 month on tires. Water damage, crashes, modifications and repairs at unapproved workshops are excluded. To claim, send a photo or short video with your order number to service.hu@engwe.com. ENGWE publishes a map of partner repair shops, but you must get its approval before taking the bike there, and those shops are not return addresses.
