Bikes and scooters ship from ENGWE's UK warehouse, so there is no customs declaration, no import VAT and no courier handling fee, which is the main reason to use this store rather than the euro one. Processing takes 1 to 2 business days and delivery 3 to 10 business days, free; the shipping page quotes both "3 to 7" and "7 to 10", so plan for the longer end. Tracking is emailed on dispatch and can be followed on 17track. A few accessories ship from abroad and take longer. Once a parcel has shipped the address cannot be changed, and cancelling after dispatch costs £200, so check the address before you confirm.

Returns and cancellations: read this before you order

You have 30 days from delivery to ask for a return, and you must email service2@engwe-bikes.com first; parcels sent without approval are refused. A change-of-mind return is only accepted if the bike is unused with under 10 km on the display, complete in its original box with charger, keys and hardware, and you have the proof of purchase. In that case ENGWE deducts £200 per e-bike and £100 per battery (unused batteries only), and the bike goes back to the warehouse in Stryków, Poland, not to the UK. Cancelling before dispatch costs 5% of the order; cancelling or refusing the parcel after dispatch costs £200. If the bike arrives faulty, damaged or wrong, ENGWE sends a return label and exchanges or refunds it within 30 days, though its policy keeps a £100 shipping charge on faulty returns. After 30 days a fault is handled as a warranty repair, and ENGWE will reimburse a local bike shop against a printed invoice if it cannot fix the problem remotely. Sale accessories, custom orders and free gifts are not returnable.

Warranty terms

12 months on the frame, fork, handlebar, folding tubes and seat post; 12 months on the motor, battery (replaced below 60% capacity), controller, charger, display, cables, brake levers and sensors; 6 months on lights, kickstand, fenders, racks, pedals, cranks, chain, derailleur, hubs and shock; 3 months on saddle, plastics, brake rotors, pads and cables; 1 month on tyres. Water damage, crashes, modifications and repairs at unapproved shops are excluded, and accessories bought separately are only covered if dead on arrival. Claims go to service2@engwe-bikes.com with your order number and a photo or short video; ENGWE says it replies within one business day and usually sends a troubleshooting sheet before shipping parts. The EP-2 3.0 Boost ships with 24 months of cover. Other bikes can add a 12-month extended warranty covering motor, battery, controller, display, wiring, charger, frame, fork and brakes, and it has to be in the same order as the bike.
