What is Intui.travel?

Intui.travel is an online marketplace for airport and hotel transfers. It does not own any cars. Local transport companies, more than 5,000 according to Intui's terms, carry out the trips, and Intui says it works with licensed companies. Intui acts as the booking agent: your contract for the ride is with the transport company you choose.

The site is run by EasyUpTur LLP, registered in the UK in September 2011. Intui says it has completed more than 450,000 orders.

How booking with the promo code works

4. Compare the cars. "Details and Conditions" on each offer shows what is included, how long the driver waits, the luggage allowance, child seats and the cancellation deadline.
5. Book, use the code when you pay and check the total before you confirm. Intui's public help pages do not describe a promo code box, so if you cannot see where to enter it, ask Intui support before paying.
6. After payment the transport company confirms the order and Intui e-mails your voucher. It is also in your Personal Account.

The voucher is the key document. It has your order number, the meeting point with a diagram, and the names and phone numbers of the driver and the transport company. Show it to the driver when you board; carriers can refuse the ride without it. Most transfers must be booked 24 to 48 hours ahead, and some private cars 2 to 12 hours ahead. Each carrier sets its own deadline.

Prices and vehicle classes

Intui has three groups of offers: shuttle bus and economy (shared shuttles, passenger cars, economy minivans), private transfers (standard and business class cars, limousines, convertibles, with a meeting sign) and car plus boat. It also lists group minibuses, ski transfers and a helicopter transfer at Geneva Airport.

• Private car prices are for the whole vehicle. Shuttle prices are per person.
• Taxes, parking, fuel and toll roads are included. Ferries and other exceptions are listed in the offer.
• The price is set from one district to another. If your address is outside the district you searched, the price can change, and Intui tells you before you pay.
• Some offers come in two fares, STANDARD and FLEXI. Intui's help pages say FLEXI allows later changes, adds extras such as Wi-Fi and water where listed, and is the fare that can allow part payment to the driver.

Cancellation and refunds

Each transport company sets a free-cancellation deadline. You see it when you choose the car, and it is saved in your order. Intui's help pages give 48 hours before the trip as a typical deadline for the STANDARD fare.

• Cancel yourself in your Personal Account before the first trip date. This costs nothing.
• Cancelling through support by e-mail costs 10 EUR.
• Cancelling one leg of a round trip after the first leg is only possible by e-mail, at least 48 hours before the second leg, and Intui keeps 15 EUR.
• If you cancel after the deadline or do not show up, the trip counts as provided and is not refunded.
• Refunds go back to your original payment method in 1 to 5 business days. The payment processor may deduct a fee, depending on the method and amount.
• If the transport company fails to turn up through its own fault, Intui refunds that trip in full. Any extra taxi cost has to be claimed from the transport company.

Complaints must reach Intui in writing within 20 days of the trip, with evidence such as call screenshots and a photo of the arrivals board.

Waiting time and flight delays

Every car's description states how long the driver waits. Offers marked "If flight delayed, we wait. No extra charge." wait up to 2 hours after the scheduled arrival time. If your flight is later than that, call or message the transport company on the numbers in your voucher (phone, WhatsApp, Viber or WeChat). If you do not tell them, the car can come at the booked time and the order counts as completed. Night surcharges can apply on some routes.

Payment

You pay when you book. Intui's homepage shows Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Revolut Pay, Alipay, WeChat, iDEAL and SEPA Direct Debit. Which methods you see depends on your country and currency. Through our link prices open in US dollars, and you can switch to another currency in the order form.

Some private offers let you pay part online and the rest in cash to the driver. This only applies where the transport company accepts cash, and you see both amounts before paying. The cash part depends on the exchange rate on the day of the trip. Shuttle transfers must be paid 100% online.

Intui says it covers 175 countries, more than 327,000 cities, 3,500 airports and about 12 million routes.
